Abstract: Devise a strategy to promote a legal framework and technological development in Spain to allow ocean energy to achieve considerable relevance in the renewable energy mix in the year 2020.
The marine section of the Spanish Renewable Energy Association (APPA) was founded in May 2006 with the aim of bringing together the industrial sector and joining forces with them for the development of marine energy in Spain.
As the marine section of APPA encompasses most of the sector, so it is in a unique position to provide a comprehensive and realistic vision of the situation of marine energy in Spain.
