Realistic marine flow conditions for current turbines studies

Date: November 01, 2013 at 10:49 GMT

The aim of this work is to investigate the real kinematics that would endure current turbines and mainly the influence of the waves. Two numerical tools have been developped to model wave and current interaction and study the global kinematic on the entire fluid. Moreover some high-frequency measurements at sea using an ADCP have been done on a potential future deployment site.
