Workshop on Wave Energy Conversion - Numerical simulation and validation

The objective of the workshop is to discuss and identify new high-quality experimental data for model validation and verification through collaboration under the OES Task 10. 
 
Initially, the OES Task 10 has focused successfully on relatively simple cases like a heaving sphere, and fixed OWC chambers.  Now the aim is to identify high quality experimental data for more complicated cases - i.e. cases that include measurements of motions in several degrees of freedom and/or include controlled PTO and perhaps measured loads on a mooring system. 

This workshop will be organised as a side event of the European Wave and Tidal Energy Conference (EWTEC) 2025, taking place in Madeira. More details about EWTEC can be found at https://ewtec.org/ewtec-2025/
